7/24 CBS2 Friday & Weekend Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis

We're looking at yet another nice afternoon with low humidity and temps right around normal. We'll see a few more clouds spill into the area (especially across our northeast suburbs), but overall, it's looking like a nice one.

Skies will become mostly clear into tonight with comfortable humidity levels. Expect a low of about 69°.

With high pressure nearby, we'll see yet another mostly sunny day around the area. We'll tap into a wind out of the south in the afternoon, so it will feel just a tad more humid than it has in recent days. Temps will rise into the mid 80s once again.

There's a chance for an early morning shower (mainly north) and afternoon pop-up storm (especially inland) on Sunday; and winds will continue to blow out of the south, so it will be even more humid. Highs that day will be in the mid to upper 80s.

It looks like we'll start off slightly unsettled on Monday with even stickier conditions in place.
