7/23 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Hot, hot, hot! That's the best way to describe this weekend's weather. We'll have clear skies overnight and will only "cool off" into the 70s for most around NYC... some 60s for the 'burbs. We'll have another very hot day tomorrow with temps reaching the low & mid 90s, but it does look like the humidity will be a bit lower. Either way it'll be hot!

Monday looks like the worst of the heat with temps soaring into the upper 90s along with surging humidity, feeling like 100+ degrees! A strong piece of energy will approach the area and set off some showers and storms, some of which could be strong...we'll keep you posted on that.

Tuesday will feature temps still in the 90s with relatively drier air, but still muggy out. In fact it looks like we'll keep the 90s around through at least Wednesday...so stay cool and hydrated folks!
