7/20 Monday Evening Weather Headlines

Good Evening All. What a scorcher we had today! We hit 94° in Central Park making it the hottest day of the year! This evening it stays toasty with 88° at 7pm. And don't expect much reprieve tomorrow, as we are expecting 90° for a high, making it the first heat wave of the summer. With heat like this comes high UV indices and in this case relatively poor air quality, so be sure to pack the sunblock and water if you are heading outside.

There is the chance for a pop-up shower or thunderstorm late tomorrow, but the approaching cold front has slowed, which could keep us hot and dry all day tomorrow. So when will things cool down? Tuesday evening into the overnight hours looks like your best bet for lower humidity. But the sunshine will prevail throughout the rest of the week with temperatures in the mid 80s, leaving us with what could be the best weather of the summer thus far.

That's all I have for now, be sure to check back soon for more weather updates.
