7/20 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Hey everybody! Only one word can describe the way this morning is starting off - YUCK! Temps across the area are still in the upper 70s and low 80s early this morning, and they're only gonna go up!

Heat advisory is still in effect for the Five Boroughs until 6PM, but it'll feel uncomfortable all over the Tri-State. We'll get to 92 degrees this afternoon and it'll feel hotter than that thanks to high humidity. A few widely scattered showers are possible this evening.

Expect another very warm day tomorrow but with slightly lower humidity. Once again, temps will reach the upper 80s and low 90s. Just like today, there could be a few pop-up storms Tuesday evening.

The cold front rolls through Tuesday night and will get rid of the heat and humidity. Much more comfortable weather for Wednesday through Friday with mid 80s and low humidity!
