7/18 CBS2 Saturday Morning Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre

Good mornin' folks! We do have changes in our weather, and not for the better. Humidity and rain chances will be around this weekend. Expect a few showers early this morning, maybe even a few rumbles, as a warm front moves through...so all you early risers just be mindful for the chance for scattered storms.

It's gonna be a steamy day ahead with breaks of sunshine this afternoon as the front continues truckin' through. Expect a high of 86 in NYC, but the humidity will make it feel like 90s! There will also be a few pop-up storms dotting the region - but don't cancel any plans! Just prepare to duck inside for a few moments.

Tomorrow looks to be the hottest and most unpleasant day of the summer thus far with temps soaring into the low 90s, even at a few coastal locations! Interior portions of NJ should have no problem getting to 95, and with dew points in the low/mid 70s, it'll actually feel more like 100-105!

Make sure that if you are going to be outside, that you drink plenty of water and take it easy. Chance for storms returns Sunday night into Monday with hot and humid conditions continuing through Monday afternoon.
