7/17 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning folks! We'll have mainly cloudy, warm, and muggy conditions to start with temps in the mid 60s to mid 70s...and there could be a stray shower too. Expect mostly sunny skies through much of the day though, and it will be very warm once again...expect 88 in NYC but some more 90s inland. Just like yesterday, maybe some late day isolated thunderstorms.

Tomorrow's lookin' like a scorcher with mostly sunny skies and temps soaring into the low & mid 90s. It appears that the humidity will hold steady and not get too oppressive. Either way it'll be hot! There will also be a front approaching so expect an increase in clouds and a chance of showers & storms Monday night into early Tuesday.

As for the days beyond? Looks like mostly dry & sunny weather with some big warmth potential. Could we get our first heat wave late in the week? Stay tuned!
