7/11 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

What an evening we have in store, folks! Expect mainly clear skies and dry conditions all thanks to high pressure in firm control! If you're heading out for a night on the town, you'll be in good shape with temps still in the 70s overnight ... we'll bottom out at 71 early tomorrow morning.

It's feelin' like summer tomorrow with lots of hazy sunshine and a bit more humidity late in the day. We'll top off at the 90 degree mark in NYC and interior NJ. If you're heading to the beach, things will be a bit cooler in the 80s. While the rip current risk is low, you'll wanna bring extra sunscreen as the UV index will be up there!

And how about the start of the next week? The latest info suggests that most of Monday could be dry! It will be cooler with temps in the low/mid 80s and a few more clouds. There could be a few evening/late night storms, but we don't expect a washout. So, if you have an extra day off, you should be in good shape. Tuesday looks like a better bet for some storms. Very humid and warm with highs in the upper 80s.

Check back in soon for the latest, and enjoy the weekend!
