6/5 CBS2 Sunday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre

CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening everybody. We'll have a few more strong thunderstorms moving through the area early tonight before everything clears out overnight. It'll be a muggy and mild night with temps in the mid- and upper-60s.

Tomorrow looks like a much better day with mostly sunny skies and much warmer temps. We'll get back into the 80s, expecting 84 in New York City, so the roller coaster ride of temperatures will continue. A few showers are possible Tuesday, but not as powerful as earlier today, and it'll be warm again with highs in the low 80s.

Wednesday looks like a gorgeous day with mostly sunny skies, light breezes, and temps in the low- and mid-70s. Expect a similar day on Thursday, and a bit warmer on Friday with temps closer to 80.

Have a good night!
