6/21 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good Sunday morning, and Happy Father's Day!

Let's get right to business -- the remnants of "Bill" are moving through bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms. Flood alerts are up for most of the area until 8 p.m. Saturday night. The big concerns would be roadways, poor drainage areas, and small creeks/streams. If you have to drive early this morning take it nice and slow! Rain should end by lunchtime and the clouds will give way to sunshine.

High temps will soar into the low/mid 80s once the clouds break up. There is a slight chance for a few isolated storms tomorrow evening as a disturbance approaches. Monday will bring even more warmth and a more summer-like feel. Plenty of sun & humidity, so with temps in the mid/upper 80s, it'll feel like mid 90s.

Tuesday will be another sizzler with temps again in the upper 80s/low 90s. With higher humidity, we'll all be feelin' it out there. There will also be a chance for scattered thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon as another front approaches. Wednesday will be gorgeous with sunshine, drier air, and low 80s in the afternoon.
