6/22 CBS2 Monday Evening Weather Headlines

Victoria Cavaliere
CBS2 Weather Intern

Good evening all,

We started off our first full day of summer quite strong with sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s in and around the city. Tonight skies remain clear, but humidity builds with a low of 73°.

For your day tomorrow, make sure to pack an extra water bottle because while you could see a shower early tomorrow morning, most of the day will be hot and humid with a high of 90° expected in Central Park and real feel temperatures in the triple digits possible inland.

With all this humidity and an approaching cold front, severe weather including heavy rain, thunderstorms and potentially damaging hail is possible, especially late afternoon into your evening commute.

So the good news? Temperatures cool down a tad for Wednesday with a high of 84° accompanied by lots of sunshine and lower humidity.

That's all I have for now. Be sure to check back soon for more weather updates.
