Good Sunday morning, folks! It's going to be a pretty nice finish to the weekend across the area. We will have some more clouds passing through during the afternoon, but for the most part, things will be dry and nice with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s again...82 is the forecast high for NYC.

A cold front that sagged south yesterday will move back north as a warm front tonight, and could set off some showers this evening. Best chance for any rain looks to be Monday morning; as a matter of fact, some thunderstorms are expected and a few could be strong/severe. Biggest threats look to be torrential rain and gusty winds. Monday will be a bit cooler otherwise with a high of 78.

Some afternoon showers are possible on Tuesday with more sunshine and warmth as temps get back into the 80s. Wednesday look to be the pick of the week with plentiful sunshine, low humidity, and highs in the low 80s. Have a great Sunday!
