6/1 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good Morning!

Yesterday was certainly active around here, with strong storms and flash flooding. The showers will continue today as the front stalls just to our south, allowing waves of low pressure to ride up along it.

So it'll be a damp start to the work week, with periods of rain. Be prepared for heavy downpours where storms to move through. A much cooler high of just 67 today, as we are north of the front.

Tuesday looks to start out wet as well, with some lingering rain showers. Then mostly cloudy skies for the remainder of the day. It stays cool once again, with highs in the upper 60s.

Wednesday will be the day to look forward to! The sun returns and we're back into the mid 70s.

Check back in soon for an update.
