5/9 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines
By Matt DeLucia
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening, all.
Despite the clouds and fog, it was feeling seasonable out there today. We reached a high of 70 in the city, which is right around where we should be.
Tonight will be a repeat of what we've been seeing lately ... clouds and fog. There is a dense fog advisory in effect once again for locations along the coast. Temps will stay on the mild side, dropping to 63 in Central Park.
Tomorrow is looking like a nice Mother's Day, despite what you may see when you wake up. Morning clouds and fog will give way to afternoon sunshine with a high of 83 in NYC!
Monday and Tuesday look warm, but we're watching the remnants of Tropical Storm Ana sliding to our south and a front approaching from the west. Some showers and thunderstorms will be around both days. The humidity kicks up a notch, and we'll see temps in the 80s, with Tuesday looking like the warmer of the two.
Check back in later for any updates!
