5/7 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

Sunshine dominates the remainder of the afternoon with the exception of inland areas where they could see a few clouds. Highs will be a bit warmer than yesterday in the upper 70s.

Winds will be generally light and out of the south and west tonight. Mild lows in the upper 50s.

High pressure will continue to have an influence on our area tomorrow and will help to serve up another round of sunshine across the area. Highs will be slightly warmer around 80°.

We may see some clouds to kick off our day on Saturday... may even linger into the afternoon hours, but it's a wait and see game as usual. Highs are expected to be slightly cooler in the upper 70s.

Some clouds and drizzle are possible come Mother's Day, but mainly in the morning with some afternoon clearing. Even warmer highs in the low to mid 80s.

Check back for more on this weekend!
