5/5 CBS2 Tuesday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta,
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Morning everyone!

We have a pretty good looking day today. The thunder threat has lessened a bit, but you can't rule out a storm anytime a front comes by. The best bet for severe weather would be after noon.

Some of the future models are indicating a few early showers in the Hudson Valley. We will get near 80° in the city, and those living in the interior sections of N.J. could see higher temps. Those over the water will stay cooler.

The front will slowly sag south and eventually clear out by Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday's high: 74°.

Thursday is spectacular with lots of sunshine. Check back in soon for the latest.
