5/5 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

It will be another grey day with just isolated pockets of drizzle and/or showers. Temps will struggle once again... mid 50's or so.

We'll see an increasing rain chance tonight with rain becoming likely towards and around daybreak. And given the onshore winds and approaching new moon, a coastal flood advisory has been issued and goes in effect this evening from 6 PM until midnight.

On and off rain will be in the mix tomorrow with some drizzle possible in between. It will be cool again with temps only approaching the mid 50's or so.

We'll finally see some breaks of sun on Saturday, but we'll have to leave in a shower chance for now. Highs that day will be in the mid 60's or so.

As for Sunday, we'll see a shower chance in the morning as our next cold front swings through. Temps will stay on the warm side again with highs in the mid to upper 60's.
