5/27 CBS2 Friday Morning Weather Headlines

Good morning folks and happy Friday! It's another mild start out there with temps in the 60s and near 70 for NYC. Another summery day is on tap, but slightly "cooler" and a better chance for some afternoon/evening scattered showers and storms. Best bet will be points north and west of the city. Mid- to upper 80s around the region with cooler coasts.

Saturday should stay dry for most to kick off the holiday weekend, but still have to keep in a slight chance of a passing shower or t-storm inland. If I had to choose, I'd say Saturday will be the best beach day!

No day looks like a complete washout, but we'll have to keep an eye on Monday for the best bet. Check back in soon!
