5/23 CBS2 Monday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Hey folks! We're on pace for a pretty nice day overall, with a mix of sun & clouds...warmer too with a high of 75 in the Park. There will be a few showers this afternoon & evening but they'll be widely scattered - not a washout by any means.

Expect a very similar day tomorrow with perhaps a few more showers especially over the East End. It'll be a tick or two cooler with temps in the lower 70s away from the coast. We could even have some thundershowers, but we're not expecting anything severe.

Then we get a taste of summer - how about a stretch of low & mid 80s sound! We'll have sunny skies thanks to a dominating high pressure system pumping in warm air - temps in the mid 80s Wednesday & Thursday, a bit more humid on Thursday. A few showers/storms possible Friday with low 80s.
