5/21 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Even though we had a gray and cloudy day, the heaviest of the rain has stayed to the south of the city. We'll have some showers on and off tonight with occasionally breezy conditions, and comfortably cool temps in the low to mid 50s. A shower chance lingers tomorrow but we'll get some late breaks of sun to bump our temp to near 70.

We'll enjoy a little warm-up for the first two days of the week, into the low 70s Monday and mid 70s Tuesday, but there could be a few showers each day. Tuesday could even include a few thunderstorms as some stronger energy moves through...we'll keep you updated on that.

The payoff arrives to end the week with mostly sunny skies and temperatures breaking into the low & mid 80s...feeling more like late June! So just bear with the rain chances the next couple of days because there is summery warmth ahead!
