5/15 CBS2 Friday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta,
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening everyone,

Hope you're have a fantastic end to the work week. The weather has cooperated quite well today, and is pretty much on track with the forecast. We topped off around 75 when the skies opened up around midday.

Things are going to change tonight, however. Skies will fill in with clouds and some showers are embedded. The greatest risk for rain will be north of NYC.

Tomorrow, we can expect our dry streak of 22 days to end. We need the rain, and hopefully, we receive some to cut our deficit.

Sunday looks like the better beach day, with a pop-up storm variety in the afternoon. Sunday's high: mid to upper 80s.

Monday. we catch some ocean influence, so we're cooler with cloud cover.

Check back in soon for the latest.
