5 Treated After Staten Island Boat Fire
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A boat went up in flames Monday morning off the South Shore of Staten Island.
The FDNY says five people on board jumped into Raritan Bay at around 8:30 a.m.
A nearby boater was able to get everyone onto that boat until first responders arrived.
All five were recued and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The 23 foot boat was destroyed.

The NYPD is looking into the cause of the fire.
