4/8 CBS2 Wednesday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning everyone!

Hope you're having a good one so far! There is definitely a chill in the air this morning.

We are on the backside of this cold front and are catching the cold northeast wind of the water. Today's high: 47-52 degrees.

We will have intermittent showers again today with a good bet for some steadier, heavier showers overnight.

Towards dawn tomorrow, we will have cool temps again, but some dense fog will likely be around as well. Any precip falling north of I-84 could see the frozen variety.

Friday morning, we return to the mild side of the front and we have temps soaring back into the mid 60s. We could be close to the center of some strong lift in the atmosphere, so thunderstorms do bring about a risk on Friday.
