4/5 CBS2 Sunday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening folks, and hope those of you who celebrate Easter enjoyed the mild afternoon! Expect a continuation of mild temps tonight, with any showers coming to an end this evening. Skies will clear out and it'll be a nice cool night with temps dropping into the mid 40s around town.

Monday will start off the week with plenty of sunshine and warmth - we expect a high of 63 in NYC. With sunshine, nice temps, and light breezes, it's the perfect day for the start of baseball. The Yankees game in the Bronx is lookin' good!

Unfortunately the good news ends there. While we do expect another mild day on Tuesday, a front will stall over the region and tap into a big moisture feed. What does that mean? On/off rain showers Tuesday through Friday. While it won't be raining every single moment and there will be dry periods, it's gonna be a rather cloudy and damp week...but you know what they say - April showers bring May flowers!
