4/27 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Mornin' folks! It's a brisk start to the work week with temps in the 40s and some 30s, so make sure you're dressed warmly. We promise that it will start feeling more like spring as we head through the week! It'll be more of a partial sunshine type day with a chance for widely scattered showers in the mid afternoon. Nothing really to write home about, but there could be a few that bring briefly heavy rain. Temps will be nice once again with a high of 61 in the city, 50s elsewhere.

Heading into the midweek, we'll see that spring-like weather that was promised above! Sun-filled skies prevail Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid/upper 60s both days. Many folks away from the coasts will even hit the 70 degree mark! Looks like the next chance for rain arrives Thursday afternoon with temps in the middle 60s.

As of now, it looks like the weekend will be dry, sunny, and mild...how about 70 degree temperatures both days? That's surely a good way to start off May!
