4/20 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning everyone! Make sure you grab the umbrella as you head out to work/school this morning. Heaviest of the rain looks to be 10-2, and we expect anywhere from 1-2" of rainfall. Some thunderstorms are possible too..in fact, just to our south there's a chance for strong/severe t-storms. It will also be quite windy with east/southeast winds of 20-25 mph, and gusts to 35-40 mph. Welcome to spring!

Expect early morning showers Tuesday with clearing through the day. It will be milder with temps reaching a high of 67 under sunny skies. Wednesday will be another seasonable day, with a high of 63, but with more clouds. There could also be some showers late in the evening/overnight. Thursday will be cooler with a bit more sunshine, as highs will only reach the upper 50s.

Make sure to keep an eye on the radar and on CBS2 for storm updates...and stay dry, folks!
