4/16 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good Afternoon!

Mostly sunny skies will prevail for the rest of your day, with temps about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday thanks to an easterly flow as high pressure moves offshore. Going for a high of 61 in the city. Clouds will be on the increase tonight with lows in the upper 40s for NYC metro.

Some showers move into the picture toward dawn tomorrow morning, and will hang around for most of the day. It will by no means be a complete washout, rather on/off showers passing through. Still, a damp day with highs in the mid 60s. Don't forget the umbrella as you head out tomorrow!

The good news is Saturday continues to look better... mostly sunny skies with a high of 72 in Central Park! We're still dry on Sunday, but temps back to a more seasonable 63.
