4/13 CBS2 Monday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis

High pressure will continue to push offshore this afternoon... winds will persist out of the south. That said, coastal communities will be cooler than inland areas where temps will likely meet or exceed 70°! For the city, expect highs in the mid to upper 60s.

We'll see some extra clouds late tonight ahead of our next cold front... chance of showers into the overnight hours as we approach daybreak. Low near 52°.

Expect morning showers possibly lingering into the early afternoon hours before we see some breaks of sun. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s.

Another area of high pressure will settle in on Wednesday and Thursday. Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Check back for more on tomorrow's rain!
