By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good Sunday morning, folks! If you're stepping outside for an early morning run, you'll notice a chill in the air. Many spots are starting in the 30s and low 40s. But heading throughout the day, expect plenty of strong sunshine warming us into the 60s! It'll be a perfect day to spend time outside, whether it be exercising, gardening, picnicking...you can't go wrong!

Monday features more warmth with sunshine to start, temps peak at 67 in NYC. If you want to see the Mets' home opener at Citi Field on Monday, the weather looks to be picture perfect! There will be afternoon clouds moving in ahead of a weak cold front. Overall, things look good Monday.
