$40,000 Motorcycle For Charity Ride Stolen In Williamsburg

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police say a $40,000 motorcycle was stolen in Brooklyn Friday morning.

Brandon Hochman rode from Los Angeles to New York for charity; but before he could ride back to California, police say his custom motorcycle was stolen in Williamsburg.

"They someone cracked the steering lock and rolled it out of here," Hochman said. "There's no hiding this bike. It's custom 360, all chromed out, one-of-a-kind."

As CBS 2 reported, someone has offered Hochman another bike but he say she's trying to raise money to replace the bike on his own.

Hochman says if the bike is found, any funds raised will go toward the charity he was riding for, Best Friends Animal Society.
