What a day! Hopefully you were able to get outside for a bit. It may be early March, but it was feeling more like June around the Tri-State today. Temps soared into the upper 70s and low 80s for most. We topped out at 77 in Central Park. The exception was along the coast, where sea breezes and the cold ocean water kept temps in the 60s.
Partly cloudy skies overnight with fairly mild temps in the 50s. Tomorrow could potentially be another record breaking day for some, although likely not as widespread. We're forecasting 74 in the city, which would tie the daily record. There will be more clouds around with a shower chance for the far northern suburbs. Most will stay dry.
A cold front moves across overnight and into early Friday with a batch of showers moving through. As of now, they look to be moving out before the Friday AM commute. Despite the "cooler" air, we'll still make it into the low to mid 60s on Friday, 15 degrees or so above normal!
The weekend looks to bring a shower chance on Sunday, so Saturday will definitely be the better half. Highs will top out around 60 both days. Normal for this time of year is the upper 40s. Have a good one!
