Good Afternoon!

Yesterday's rain has moved out, and we'll be generally dry for the second half of your weekend. We picked up about 0.5-1.5" of rain across the region. As the system pulls away and high pressure builds in, winds will be the main story for today, out of the NW 15-25 mph, gusting 35-40 mph.

Clouds have been ruling, especially early, but expect some sun as we head through the rest of the day. We'll reach a high of 49 in the city. There is a slight chance of a shower (or even some flakes far north) this afternoon, but nothing major. I think most will remain dry.

Partly cloudy skies for tonight, with a low of 35 in Central Park. It stays breezy, with winds gusting 35-40 mph early. As a result, it will feel like the 20s overnight.

Looks like a nice start to the workweek, with a mild high of 54 in NYC! Sunshine to start, with increasing clouds in the afternoon and evening. Some scattered showers move into the picture late Monday night, lingering into early Tuesday. Temps drop back down into the 40s, but the good news is we'll see gradual clearing and the sun will return by late morning and early afternoon for St. Patrick's Day!

High pressure builds back in for midweek, but brings some cold air with it ... high temps only in the upper 30s by Wednesday. Check back in soon for the latest forecast as we keep the countdown to spring going ... 5 days!
