3/11 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

by Justin Lewis, CBS2 Meteorologist

Expect partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies the remainder of the afternoon with temperatures warming to around 60°! It's a one day deal though, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Skies will be mainly clear tonight as higher pressure fills in. It will turn chilly as well with morning lows in the mid 30s.

High pressure will stick around for tomorrow, but we'll have that colder air mass in place. So, despite ample sun, highs will only rebound into the upper 40s to near 50°.

A low pressure system currently in the Gulf of Mexico will near the area on Friday. We'll see some extra clouds in the mix, especially late in the day on Friday, but we should stay dry. Rain will fill in around midnight and stick with us through the day on Saturday.
Check back for more details on the rest of the weekend!
