30-Year-Old Man Found Shot To Death in Far Rockaway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) - Police in New York City are investigating after a 30-year-old man was found fatally shot on a Queens street corner.

Police say officers responded to a 911 call of someone shot in the borough's Far Rockaway neighborhood at about 2:26 a.m. Saturday.

They say responding officers found Kayvon Moore with a gunshot wound to the chest.

They say emergency workers rushed Moore by ambulance to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police didn't release more details about the circumstances of the shooting. They say no arrests have yet been made.
