Taking a look at who's hot and who's not on the local sports landscape:

THREE UP:

1) Brooklyn Hoops

Five straight wins, including a 100-98 victory over the Knicks on Thursday night, have propelled the Nets back into a playoff spot. They're now tied for seventh in the East.

3. NY Pucks

The Islanders finally snapped out of their scoring funk in a 5-4 win over Detroit on Sunday.
