3 Teenage Girls Allegedly Stole iPhone From Another Girl's Pocket At Brooklyn Subway Station

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are searching for three teenage girls who allegedly stole another teen's iPhone from her pocket as she walked in Brooklyn.

The three suspects, between the ages of 14 and 18, grabbed the phone from the victim's back pocket as she walked up the stairs at the Cleveland Avenue subway station in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn on October 25, police said. The suspects then fled.

One of the suspects has dyed red hair, police said.

Anyone with information was asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS, log onto the Crime Stoppers website, or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and enter TIP577.
