27-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot At Bed-Stuy Housing Complex

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 27-year-old man died after being shot multiple times at a Brooklyn public housing complex early Sunday morning, police said.

The shooting happened just before 12:30 a.m. at the Armstrong Houses on Lexington Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, cops said.

Alfred James, of Brooklyn, was was shot several times in the torso, police said. He was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

No arrest has been made. Police are investigating to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
