Fire Damages Burger Restaurant In Bound Brook, N.J.

BOUND BROOK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- An extra-alarm fire ripped through a hamburger restaurant in Bound Brook, New Jersey Tuesday evening.

The fire broke out around 6:15 p.m. at the 25 Burgers fast food restaurant, at 552 W. Union Ave. in Bound Brook, local fire officials said.

The fire was raised to two alarms 45 minutes later, and was not brought under control until 8:30 p.m., officials said.

A firefighter suffered a minor injury while fighting the blaze.

The Bound Brook location was the original outpost for 25 Burgers, which offers gourmet hamburgers, fries and shakes. The chain also has locations in several other New Jersey towns.
