2/3 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Hello all,

The ample sunshine beaming down on all the ice around the towns has led to some unexpected falling ice issues. If you are walking in NYC or another community with some taller buildings, be aware.

But on the bright side, the sun is a welcomed friend after yesterday's storm. Temps will drop into the lower 20s tonight, which is milder that we've been.

The mild trend will continue Wednesday afternoon when a slight warm front bumps up temps. That same weak ridge will bring a trace of snow to the Hudson Valley in the morning. Watch for slick roads.

Thursday brings another chance for precipitation in the morning. Another nuisance front backs through the region coating us with an inch or two. Some just see a coating, where two inches or more would be reserved for those again, in the Hudson Valley.

Keep checking back in for updates during this incredibly busy season!
