2/26 CBS2 Thursday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning everyone!

Hope you're having a nice start to your day.

Temps have dropped off yet again. We will not get out of the upper 20s today.

There is a little bit of snow in the forecast. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., some flakes will fall mainly on the coast and East End, but can give all of us at least a coating. The best bet for highest totals would be on the Jersey Shore and Suffolk County.

Colder air fill in Friday -- also not getting out of the 20s. Saturday is a bit warmer and Sunday, a few degrees warmer still.

The next storm chance would be starting late Sunday to Tuesday with some mixing and rain likely. Timing is still too far out to nail down. But any snow would be washed away later on due to the heavy rain.

Good news: next week's looking pretty nice! A few days in the 40s.

Check back in soon for the latest.
