Good Monday morning - let's get straight to business. If you're heading out this morning be sure to be EXTRA careful. There will be one mess of a commute due to a complicated winter storm that will bring everything from rain to ice to snow.
In/around the city, not too much snow, but amounts will be higher in the Lower Hudson Valley, especially north of I-84. Bigger concern will be for ice, up to a half inch in spots! Things start winding down during the mid-day, but as colder air rushes in, one final burst of snow is possible. Everything refreezes overnight with temps bottoming out at 10 in NYC and single digits to 0 degrees far north/west.
Tuesday is a cold windy day with chills solidly in the single digits and teens. Wednesday we warm up into the upper 30s and partial sunshine.
