2/14 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning everybody - no other way to say it, it's brutally cold out. Everyone's starting off either right around 0 or below 0. Wind chills are dangerous too with things feeling like 15 to 40 degrees below! Bundle up or just stay inside today.

Tomorrow is when things get interesting. We'll have a bump in temps and it looks like we'll get back to the freezing mark...but some snow will start falling before that. Looks like snow moves in for the afternoon before it changes to rain late at night. How much? Could get a few slushy inches before the change...some spots north & west might have more icing to deal with, and immediate coastal spots may be just rain.

Tuesday will be a windy & warm soaker. Temps spike into the low 50s for some with heavy rain through the early afternoon. Heavy rain on top of frozen ground could lead to some local flooding & runoff issues, so we'll keep you posted on that.

Stay tuned for the latest and be safe in this dangerous cold!
