2 Women Sought In Thefts From Businesses In Queens, Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Wednesday were seeking two women in connection with a string of thefts from businesses in Queens and Brooklyn.

During November of last year, the suspects walked into the businesses and distracted the store employees before taking cash and leaving, police said.

The robberies happened at the following times and locations:

• Around 9 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Liam and Joseph Beauty Spa at 88-18 Roosevelt Ave. on the cusp of Jackson Heights and Elmhurst in Queens;

• Around 5:15 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Just Laundromat, at 47-18 Broadway in Astoria, Queens;

• Around 5:45 p.m. Nov. 17 at Linda's Nail and Spa, at 278 Broadway in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Police have released a surveillance image of the two suspects.
