2 Women Sought In Queens Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The NYPD is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating two suspects wanted for robbery in Astoria, Queens.

Police say on Dec. 2, 2014, around noon, the 44-year-old victim was walking on 44th Street when two suspects pushed her from behind, knocking her to the ground. The suspects then took the victim's purse, containing credit cards and keys, before fleeing.

The victim was taken to Elmhurt Hospital to be treated for a laceration to her head.

The NYPD released a photo Saturday of the suspects, two Hispanic females.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. You can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
