Cops Comb Midtown For Weapon, Suspect Who Stabbed Two Teens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police were looking for a suspect after two teens were stabbed on West 55th Street Tuesday afternoon.
The victims were both 17 years old, CBS2's Marc Liverman reported.
The stabbing took place at around 2:09 p.m. on 56th Street and Ninth Avenues in Hell's Kitchen police said.

One was stabbed in the neck and back and the other was stabbed in the abdomen and arm. The wounds were not considered major.
Police told CBS2's Liverman that after the teens were stabbed, they walked about a block and a half away to 55th Street and Eighth Avenue.
The boys ended up on a stoop in front of a brick apartment building on 55th Street, WCBS 880's Alex Silverman reported, Brian Totovic is a doorman there, and his colleagues saw the victims.
"The guy standing on the stair, and he said, 'What happened, you're drunk or something?'" Totovic said. "I think at that minute, I came to help and he was also stabbed in the neck."
Police said both victims went to a nearby high school, but would not confirm which one.
It's still unclear why they walked to the second location after they were stabbed.
So far, police said they are looking for at least one other person who may have been involved, and said they have not recovered a weapon.
They're also trying to figure out why it happened.
