2 Suspects Sought In East Harlem Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The NYPD is asking for your help in identifying and locating two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery in East Harlem.

According to police, on Dec. 30, 2014, the two suspects went approached the 30-year-old victim from behind on E. 109th St., punching him in the face and taking an envelope holding $5,000. The suspects also ripped the gold chain with a diamond cross from the man's neck before fleeing.

The first suspect is described as a black male who is around 5-foot-8 last seen wearing a black jacket, green knit hat and blue jeans.

The second suspect, also a black male of the same height, is said to have a mustache and was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black leather jacket, jeans and dark boots,
