2 MTA Bus Drivers Arrested In Midtown After Alleged Road Rage Fight

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two city bus drivers were arrested Friday evening, after they allegedly got into a fight when one cut the other off in traffic.

The location happened at an unspecified location in the Midtown South Precinct – bounded by 45th Street on the north, 29th Street on the south, Madison and Lexington avenues on the east, and Ninth Avenue on the west.

Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus driver Leonardo Pacheco, 31, was charged with assault and harassment in the incident, police said.

MTA bus driver Giuseppe Marinaro, 53, was charged with obstructing governmental authority and harassment, police said.

Police said Pacheco cut off Marinaro in traffic, and Marinaro confronted him. Pacheco then allegedly assaulted Marinaro, police said.
