2 Men Dead After Weekend Shooting In Rochdale Village, Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two men are now dead, following a shooting this past weekend in the Rochdale Village housing complex in southeast Queens.

Police were called around 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, after two people were shot at 168-40 127th Ave. in Queens. Upon arriving, police found two men with gunshot wounds to their heads.

One victim – Rendell Cassimy, 24 – was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The second – Sean Van Williams, 20 – was taken to Jamaica Hospital Center, police said. He was pronounced dead at the hospital on Friday.

The investigation into the incident continued Friday night, and no one was in custody.
