2 Injured In Shooting In Paterson, NJ High-Rise

PATERSON, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - Two men were wounded in what appears to be an accidental shooting inside a northern New Jersey high-rise building.

Paterson police found the men Wednesday morning when officers responded to a reported dispute at the Presidential Boulevard building.

They say a 24-year-old Jersey City man who works as a security guard at the building was shot in the hand, while a 24-year-old Paterson man had a graze wound in the lower leg. Both were treated at a hospital and released later Wednesday.

The shooting apparently occurred when another security guard's gun went off accidentally.
