2 Fires Break Out Hours Apart On Same Floor Of Brooklyn Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two fires broke out only hours apart in the very same building in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Firefighters responded to the first all-hands fire at 1027 Metropolitan Ave. in Brooklyn shortly after 3:30 p.m. The fire broke out on the first floor, police said.

The second all-hands fire broke out shortly after 7:30 p.m. at the same floor of the four-story building.

There were no reported injuries in either fire.

It was not immediately learned whether the two fires were related or what caused them.

As of later Monday evening, it the Fire Marshal had not ruled them suspicious.
