2 FDNY Firefighters Arrested On DWI Charges In Separate Incidents

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two New York City firefighters were arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in separate incidents early Saturday morning.

In the first incident, firefighter Adam Reichert, 32, was pulled over by police at Fourth Avenue and 84th Street in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, police said.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, violation of local law, and driving while ability impaired.

In the second incident, firefighter Akira Rodriguez, 31, was arrested after hitting another vehicle at 102nd Street and Northern Boulevard in Corona, Queens, police said.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
